Do diagrama, temos que [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{C} \ = \ C \cdot \cos(\theta) \ \hat{i} \ + \ C \cdot \sin(\theta) \ \hat{j}}[/tex3]
, que [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{T} \ = \ -T \cdot \sin(\theta) \ \hat{i} \ + \ T \cdot \cos(\theta) \ \hat{j}}[/tex3]
, e [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{P} \ = \ - m\cdot g \ \hat{j}.}[/tex3]
Equilíbrio horizontal para a esfera menor:
[tex3]\mathsf{C \cdot \cos(\theta) \ = \ T \cdot \sin(\theta) \ \rightarrow \ T \ = \ C \cdot \dfrac{\cos(\theta)}{\sin(\theta)}}[/tex3]
Equilíbrio vertical para a esfera menor:
[tex3]\mathsf{C \cdot \sin(\theta) \ + \ \cancelto{C \cdot \frac{\cos(\theta)}{\sin(\theta)}}{T} \cdot \cos(\theta) \ = \ m\cdot g \ \rightarrow}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{C \ = \ m \cdot g \cdot \sin(\theta)}[/tex3]
é o módulo da força de contato entre as esferas.
Para a esfera maior, apoiada em superfícies lisas horizontal e vertical, temos o seguinte diagrama:

Projetando a força de contato, teremos os equilíbrios horizontal e vertical para essa esfera.
Equilíbrio horizontal:
[tex3]\mathsf{N_h \ = \ C \cdot \cos(\theta)}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{N_h \ = \ m \cdot g \cdot \sin(\theta) \cdot \cos(\theta)}[/tex3]
Equilíbrio vertical:
[tex3]\mathsf{N_v \ = \ C \cdot \sin(\theta) \ + \ 2 \cdot m \cdot g}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{N_v \ = \ m \cdot g \cdot \sin^2(\theta) \ + \ 2 \cdot m \cdot g}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{N_v \ = \ m \cdot g \cdot \bigg(2 \ + \ \sin^2(\theta)\bigg)}[/tex3]
A resultante das forças normais tem módulo [tex3]\mathsf{N_t \ = \ \sqrt{N_h^2 \ + \ N_v^2}:}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{N_t \ = \ \sqrt{(m \cdot g)^2 \cdot (\sin^2(\theta) \cdot \cos^2(\theta) \ + \ 4 \ + \ 4\cdot \sin^2(\theta) \ + \ \sin^4(\theta))}}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{N_t \ = \ m \cdot g \cdot \sqrt{4 \ + \ \sin^2(\theta) \cdot \ (\cos^2(\theta) \ + \ \sin^2(\theta) \ + \ 4)}}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{N_t \ = \ m \cdot g \cdot \sqrt{4 \ + \ 5 \cdot \sin^2(\theta)}}[/tex3]
A razão pedida é [tex3]\mathsf{\dfrac{N_t}{C}:}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{\dfrac{\cancel{m \cdot g} \cdot \sqrt{4 \ + \ 5 \cdot \sin^2(\theta)}}{\cancel{m \cdot g} \cdot \sin(\theta)}}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{\sqrt{\dfrac{4 \ \ + \ 5 \cdot \sin^2(\theta)}{\sin^2(\theta)}}}[/tex3]
[tex3]\boxed{\boxed{\mathsf{= \ \sqrt{5 \ + \ 4 \ \cdot \cossec^2(\theta)}}}}[/tex3]
Obs: A esfera menor tem dimensões desprezíveis (portanto, o torque sobre ela é nulo) e todas as forças que agem na esfera maior são direcionadas para o centro, tornando-se nulo o torque em relação ao centro da mesma.
