Uma amostra de pirita (FeS2) é oxidada por bromo e por ácido nítrico de acordo com as seguintes reações:
FeS2 + 2HNO3 + 7Br2 + 8H2O → Fe(NO3)2 + 2H2SO4+ 14HBr
SO4 = + Ba2+ → BaSO4
O sulfato obtido é precipitado e pesado sob a forma de BaSO4. Se 0.331 g de pirita produziram 0.813 g de BaSO4 , a percentagem de enxofre e a de pirita na amostra são, aproximadamente:

LucasCintra, encontrei a resolução dessa questão em outro site, mas nao tive tempo de avaliar, note que ele utilizou 0,831 ao invés de 0,813, mas daí é só refazer os cálculos, vê se ajuda em alguma coisa:
137 g Ba/mol + 32 g S/mol + 4 x 16 g O/mol = 233 g BaSO4/mol
(0,831 g BaSO4) / (233 g BaSO4/mol) x (1 mol S / 1 mol BaSO4) x (32 g S/mol) / (0,331 g) = 0,3448 = 34,5% S
56 g Fe/mol + 2 x 32 g S/mol = 120 g FeS2/mol
(0,831 g BaSO4) / (233 g BaSO4/mol) x (1 mol S / 1 mol BaSO4) x (1 mol FeS2 / 2 mol S) x (120 g FeS2/mol) / (0,331 g) = 0,646499 = 64,6% FeS2
137 g Ba/mol + 32 g S/mol + 4 x 16 g O/mol = 233 g BaSO4/mol

LucasCintra, refiz os cálculos sobstituindo 0,831 por 0,813, e o valores bateram com o seu gabarito:
