Olá,
Vihjj.
Observe um esquema que mostra as forças que agem em cada bloco:

Aplicando-se a
2ª Lei de Newton aos blocos, temos:
[tex3]\begin{cases}\begin{align}
\text{Bloco A:} \,\,\, \text{F} - \text{F}_{\text{BA}} = \text{m}_{\text{A}} \, \text{a} \,\,\,\, &\text{(I)} \\
\text{Bloco B:} \,\,\, \text{F}_{\text{AB}} = \text{m}_{\text{B}} \, \text{a} \quad \quad\,\,\, &\text{(II)}
\end{align}\end{cases}[/tex3]
Note que quem acelera exclusivamente o bloco B é [tex3]\text{F}_{\text{AB}}:[/tex3]
[tex3]\text{F}_{\text{AB}} = \text{m}_{\text{B}} \, \text{a} \,\,\, \Rightarrow \,\,\, \text{F}_{\text{AB}} = 3 \cdot 4 \,\,\, \Rightarrow \,\,\,
\boxed{\text{F}_{\text{AB}} = 12 \, \text{N} }[/tex3]
Na região de contato, os blocos trocam as forças [tex3]\text{F}_{\text{BA}}[/tex3]
e [tex3]\text{F}_{\text{AB}}[/tex3]
, que constituem um par ação-reação, logo, [tex3]\text{F}_{\text{AB}} = \text{F}_{\text{BA}} = 12 \, \text{N}.[/tex3]
O resultado encontrado será o mesmo caso você decida utilizar a equação [tex3]\text{(I)}.[/tex3]
