Dado o triângulo ABC, tome D na reta BC tal que C seja o ponto médio
de BD e Y na reta AC tal que as retas AD e BY sejam paralelas. Exprima
AY(vetor) em função de BA(vetor), BC(vetor) e mostre que C é o ponto médio de AY(vetor).

Re: Geometria Analítica - Combinação Linear
Usaremos um rascunho auxiliar, já com todos os elementos que usaremos:
Por hipótese, temos as informações:
[tex3]\circ[/tex3] Todos os elementos estão num mesmo plano [tex3]\pi[/tex3] ;
[tex3]\mathsf{\circ \ \triangle ABC}[/tex3] é um triângulo, logo seus lados [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{AB}, \ \vec{BC}, \ \vec{AC}}[/tex3] são linearmente independentes entre si quando tomados [tex3]\mathsf{2}[/tex3] a [tex3]\mathsf{2}[/tex3] ;
[tex3]\mathsf{\circ \ \vec{AY}, \ \vec{BD}}[/tex3] são prolongamentos de [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{AC}, \vec{BC}}[/tex3] (respectivamente);
[tex3]\circ[/tex3] Sendo [tex3]\mathsf{C}[/tex3] o ponto médio do vetor [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{BD}}[/tex3] , temos [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{CD} \ = \ \vec{BC}}[/tex3] ;
[tex3]\mathsf{\circ \ \vec{AD}}[/tex3] e [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{AY}}[/tex3] são paralelos, logo são múltiplos: [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{BY} \ = \ \alpha \cdot \vec{BD}, \ \alpha \ \in \ \mathbb{R}}[/tex3] .
Lembrando que [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{JN} \ = \ - \vec{NJ}}[/tex3] , exprimindo [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{AY}}[/tex3] :
[tex3]\mathsf{\vec{AY} = \ \underbrace{\vec{-BA}}_{\vec{AB}} \ + \ \vec{BY}}[/tex3]
Mas como [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{BY} \ = \ \alpha\cdot\vec{AD}}[/tex3] , sendo [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{AD} \ = \ -\vec{BA} \ + \ \underbrace{2\cdot\vec{BC}}_{\vec{BD}}}[/tex3] , então:
[tex3]\mathsf{\vec{AY} = \ -\vec{BA} \ + \ \cancelto{\alpha\cdot \big(-\vec{BA} \ + \ 2\cdot \vec{BC}\big)}{\vec{BY}}}[/tex3]
[tex3]\boxed{\mathsf{\vec{AY} \ = \ -\vec{BA} \cdot (\alpha \ + \ 1) \ + \ 2\cdot \vec{BC}}}[/tex3]
Agora precisamos determinar o coeficiente [tex3]\alpha[/tex3] , e para isso, usaremos mais um vetor, [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{DY}}[/tex3] .
Sabendo que tanto [tex3]\mathsf{-\vec{BA} \ + \ \vec{BY}}[/tex3] quanto [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{AD} \ + \ \vec{DY}}[/tex3] somam [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{AY}}[/tex3] , sendo [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{BY} \ = \ \alpha\cdot \vec{AD}}[/tex3] , ou seja, sendo tais vetores múltiplos (paralelos), temos que um é a transladação do outro no plano [tex3]\pi[/tex3] , e portanto, para que as somas vetoriais sejam ambas iguais a [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{AY}}[/tex3] , [tex3]\mathsf{-\vec{BA}, \vec{DY}}[/tex3] ambos também têm que ser múltiplos (paralelos), associados por uma razão [tex3]\mathsf{\beta \ \in \ \mathbb{R}\ : \ \vec{DY} \ = \ \beta\cdot-\vec{BA}}[/tex3] . Assim, esses vetores serão também a transladação um do outro no plano [tex3]\pi[/tex3] , conservando a soma vetorial.
Logo, [tex3]\mathsf{-\vec{BA} \ + \ \underbrace{\alpha\cdot \vec{AD}}_{BY} \ = \ \vec{AY} \ = \ \vec{AD} \ + \ \underbrace{\beta \cdot -\vec{BA}}_{\vec{DY}}}[/tex3] :
[tex3]\mathsf{(\alpha \ - \ 1)\cdot \vec{AD} \ = \ (1 \ - \ \beta)\cdot \vec{BA}}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{(\alpha \ - \ 1)\cdot \vec{AD} \ + \ (\beta \ - \ 1)\cdot \vec{BA} \ = \ \vec{0}}[/tex3]
Mas [tex3]\mathsf{-\vec{BA}}[/tex3] e [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{AD}}[/tex3] são linearmente independentes, pois [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{AD}}[/tex3] é a junção do vértice [tex3]\mathsf{A}[/tex3] do [tex3]\mathsf{\triangle ABC}[/tex3] ao prolongamento de um de seus lados, [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{BC} \neq -\vec{BA}}[/tex3] .
Então, para tal combinação [tex3]\mathsf{(\alpha \ - \ 1)\cdot \vec{AD} \ + \ (\beta \ - \ 1)\cdot \vec{BA} \ = \ \vec{0}, \ \alpha \ - \ 1\ = \ 0, \ \beta \ - \ 1 = \ 0 \ \therefore \boxed{\mathsf{\alpha \ = \ \beta \ = \ 1}}}[/tex3]
Substituindo, temos: [tex3]{\boxed{\mathsf{\vec{AY} \ = \ -2\cdot \vec{BA} \ + \ 2\cdot \vec{BC} = \ 2\cdot \big(-\vec{BA} \ + \ \vec{BC}\big)}}}[/tex3]
E, sabendo que [tex3]\mathsf{-\vec{BA} \ + \ \vec{BC} = \ \vec{AC}}[/tex3] (combinação linear de um triângulo), então:
[tex3]\boxed{\boxed{\mathsf{\vec{AY} \ = \ 2\cdot \vec{AC}}}}[/tex3] , logo [tex3]\mathsf{C}[/tex3] é ponto médio de [tex3]\mathsf{\vec{AY}}[/tex3] .

That's all I'd do all day. I'd just be the catcher in the rye and all.
