Já demonstrei essa propriedade aqui, AmB=135°
Traça AB=R√2 E APLICA a lei dos cossenos! O resto daí simples

Também podemos fazer pelo seguinte:
Seja [tex3]\mathsf{R}[/tex3]
o raio do setor, e [tex3]\alpha, \beta[/tex3]
os ângulos [tex3]\mathsf{\angle AOM, \ \angle BOM}[/tex3]
, respectivamente.
[tex3]\mathsf{\alpha \ + \ \beta \ = \ 90^\circ \ \therefore \ \cos(\beta) \ = \ \sin(\alpha)}[/tex3]
Lei do cosseno em [tex3]\mathsf{\triangle AOM:}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{1 \ = \ 2\cdot R^2 \cdot (1 \ - \ \cos(\alpha)) \ (I)}[/tex3]
Lei do cosseno em [tex3]\mathsf{\triangle BMO:}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{2 \ = \ 2\cdot R^2 \cdot (1 \ - \ \underbrace{\cos(\beta)}_{= \ \sin(\alpha)}) \ (II)}[/tex3]
Dividindo [tex3]\mathsf{II}[/tex3]
por [tex3]\mathsf{I:}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{2 \ = \ \dfrac{1 \ - \ \sin(\alpha)}{1 \ - \ \cos(\alpha)}}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{\cos(\alpha) \ = \ \dfrac{1 \ + \ \sin(\alpha)}{2}}[/tex3]
Substitua na relação trigonométrica fundamental e ache [tex3]\mathsf{5 \cdot \sin^2(\alpha) \ + \ 2 \cdot \sin(\alpha) \ - \ 3 \ = \ 0.}[/tex3]
A solução válida é [tex3]\mathsf{\sin(\alpha) \ = \ \cos(\beta) \ = \ \dfrac{3}{5}}[/tex3]
, e então [tex3]\mathsf{\cos(\alpha) \ = \ \sin(\beta) \ = \ \dfrac{4}{5}.}[/tex3]
Substitua em qualquer equação [tex3]\mathsf{(I), \ (II)}[/tex3]
e ache [tex3]\mathsf{R^2 \ = \ \dfrac{5}{2}.}[/tex3]
A área designada [tex3]\mathsf{S}[/tex3]
é a área do setor [tex3]\mathsf{AOB}[/tex3]
menos as àreas dos triângulos [tex3]\mathsf{\triangle AOM}[/tex3]
e [tex3]\mathsf{\triangle BMO:}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{S \ = \ S_{AOB} \ - \ S_{\triangle AOM} \ - \ S_{\triangle BMO}}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{S \ = \ \dfrac{\theta \cdot R^2}{2} \ - \ \dfrac{R^2 \cdot \sin(\alpha)}{2} \ - \ \dfrac{R^2 \cdot sin(\beta)}{2}}[/tex3]
[tex3]\mathsf{S \ = \ \dfrac{\frac{\pi}{2}\cdot \frac{5}{2}}{2} \ - \ \dfrac{\frac{\cancel{5}}{2} \cdot \frac{3}{\cancel{5}}}{2} \ - \ \dfrac{\frac{\cancel{5}}{2} \cdot \frac{4}{\cancel{5}}}{2}}[/tex3]
[tex3]\boxed{\boxed{\mathsf{S \ = \ \dfrac{5 \cdot \pi}{8} \ - \ \dfrac{7}{4} \ \ u.a.}}}[/tex3]

S = área procurada
[tex3]\mathsf{AO=BO=R\\
\overset{\LARGE{\frown}}{AOB} = 270^o\implies \angle AMB(inscrito) = 135^o\\
Traçar:AB\\
T.Pit~- \triangle AOB: R^2+R^2 = AB^2 \implies AB = R\sqrt2\\
L. Cossenos - \triangle AMB:\\ (R\sqrt2)^2 = (\sqrt2)^2+(1)^2-2\sqrt2.1cos135^0 \implies R = \frac{\sqrt10}{2}
\\S =S_{setorAOB} -S_{\triangle AOB}-S_{\triangle AMB}=\\
\frac{\pi .(\frac{\sqrt10}{2})^2}{4}=\frac{5 \pi}{8}\\
S_{\triangle AOB} = \frac{(\frac{\sqrt{10}}{2})^2}{2}=\frac{5}{4}\\
S_{\triangle {AMB}} = \frac{1}{2}.sen135^o.1.\sqrt2=\frac{1}{2}
\\ \therefore S = \frac{5\pi}{8}-\frac{5}{4}-\frac{1}{2} = \boxed{\color{red}\frac{5\pi}{8} - \frac{7}{4}}
}[/tex3]
