E aí,
Lukinhas27.
Eu por aqui mais uma vez..
A ideia é perceber que [tex3]x^2 + 4x + 4 = \(x +2\)^2[/tex3]
e [tex3]x^2 - 6x + 9 = \( x-3 \)^2[/tex3]
e daí
[tex3]\begin{align}2x - 8 & = \sqrt{x^2 + 4x + 4} + \sqrt{x^2 - 6x + 9} \\ & = \sqrt{\(x +2\)^2} + \sqrt{\( x-3 \)^2} \\ & = |x+2| + | x -3 |.\end{align}[/tex3]
Note que
[tex3]|x+2| = \begin{cases}\begin{align}
x +2, \,\, \text{se} \, x \geq -2 \\
-x -2, \,\, \text{se} \, x < -2
\end{align}\end{cases}[/tex3]
e
[tex3]|x-3| = \begin{cases}\begin{align}
x -3, \,\, \text{se} \, x \geq 3 \\
-x -3, \,\, \text{se} \, x < 3
\end{align}\end{cases}.[/tex3]
Agora, faz-se necessário considerar separadamente [tex3]x[/tex3]
em cada um desses intervalos.
[tex3]2x - 8 =\begin{cases}\begin{align}
-2x -5, \,\,\, &\text{se} \, x< -2 \\
-1, \,\,\, &\text{se} \, -2 \leq x < 3\\
2x -1, \,\,\, &\text{se} \, x \geq 3
\end{align}\end{cases}[/tex3]
[tex3]\bullet \,\,\, 2x - 8 = -2x -5 \,\,\Leftrightarrow \,\, x = \frac{3}{4};[/tex3]
como a condição [tex3]x< -2[/tex3]
não é satisfeita, não há solução neste caso.
[tex3]\bullet \,\,\, 2x - 8 = -1 \,\,\Leftrightarrow \,\, x = \frac{7}{2};[/tex3]
como a condição [tex3]-2 \leq x < 3[/tex3]
não é satisfeita, não há solução neste caso.
[tex3]\bullet \,\,\, 2x - 8 = 2x -1 \,\,\Leftrightarrow \,\, -8 = -1;[/tex3]
absurdo!
Logo, não existe solução.
