Calcule a área do paralelogramo ABCD sabendo que D(6;4) é um dos vértices não pertencente às rectas R1 e R2; a equação de um dos lados é R1: x-2y=0 e a equação do lado BC é R2: x-y-1=0.

Como as retas dadas não são paralelas, com certeza são as retas suportes de dois lados adjacentes, pois em um paralelogramo os lados opostos são sempre paralelos. Assim, fazemos sua interseção para encontrar um dos vértices:
r₁: [tex3]y=\frac{x}{2}[/tex3]
r₂: [tex3]y=x-1[/tex3]
r₁ ∩ r₂: [tex3]\frac{x}{2}=x-1[/tex3]
B(2, 1)
Veja que como o vértice D dado não pertence a r₁ nem r₂ então B é o vértice oposto de D, os outros lados do paralelogramo devem ser paralelos às retas r₁ e r₂, passando pelo vértice D, logo temos os coeficientes angulares das retas e o ponto D pelo qual elas passam, utilizando a equação rápida da reta:
m₁ = [tex3]\frac{1}{2}[/tex3] , m₂ = [tex3]1[/tex3]
r₃ // r₁: [tex3]y-4=\frac{1}{2}(x-6)[/tex3]
r₃: [tex3]y=\frac{x}{2}+1[/tex3]
r₄ // r₂: [tex3]y-4=1(x-6)[/tex3]
r₄: [tex3]y=x-2[/tex3]
Fazendo a interseção das retas encontradas com as que temos para encontrar os dois outros vértices:
r₂ ∩ r₃: [tex3]x-1=\frac{x}{2}+1[/tex3]
C(4, 3)
r₁ ∩ r₄: [tex3]\frac{x}{2}=x-2[/tex3]
A(4, 2)
Agora para calcular a área, como os pontos são "bonitos" se preferir você pode utilizar geometria plana e separar o paralelogramo em dois triângulos ou algo do tipo, vou utilizar a ideia padrão de analítica que é fazer o delta dos pontos sabendo que [tex3]A = \frac{|\Delta |}{2}[/tex3] :

A reta suporte do lado CD tem o mesmo coeficiente angular da reta y = 0,5x portanto a reta do lado CD será:
D (6,4) [tex3]\in [/tex3] CD [tex3]\rightarrow [/tex3] 4 = 0,5(6) + b [tex3]\rightarrow [/tex3] b = 1
Portanto y = 0,5x + 1
A reta suporte do lado AD tem o mesmo coeficiente angular da reta y = x -1 portanto a reta do lado AD será:

Portanto y = x - 2
