No [tex3]\Delta AFD[/tex3] temos:
[tex3]\frac{r}{\tg\(\frac{\alpha }{2}\)}=FD\rightarrow FD=r\cdot \cotg\(\frac{\alpha }{2}\)[/tex3]
Sabemos também que [tex3]FD=GD=r\cdot \cotg\(\frac{\alpha }{2}\)[/tex3] então teremos:
[tex3]\begin{align}&CD=m+r\cdot \cotg\(\frac{\alpha }{2}\)&\hspace{30pt}{\color{red}\text{(I)}}\\
&DE=n+r\cdot \cotg\(\frac{\alpha }{2}\)&\hspace{30pt}{\color{red}\text{(II)}}\\
&CE=m+n&\hspace{30pt}{\color{red}\text{(II)}}\end{align}[/tex3]
Somando (I) e (II)
[tex3]CD+DE=m+n+2r\cdot \cotg\(\frac{\alpha }{2}\)[/tex3]
Substituindo (III) em (II)
[tex3]CD+DE=CE+2r\cdot \cotg\(\frac{\alpha }{2}\)[/tex3]
O teorema é válido para qualquer triângulo que possua uma circunferência inscrita.
