Rean e triplebig achei uma resolução diferente de um livro em que as duas respostas estavam erradas.
Seja O o centro da circunferência circunscrita ao hexágono ABCDEF. Tome [tex3]{AB}={BC}={CD}=3cm[/tex3]
e [tex3]{DE}={EF}={FA}=2cm[/tex3]
.

Sejam [tex3]A\hat{O}B=B\hat{O}C=C\hat{O}D=\alpha[/tex3]
e [tex3]D\hat{O}E=E\hat{O}F=F\hat{O}A=\beta[/tex3]
. Temos [tex3]3\alpha +3\beta=360^{\circ}.[/tex3]
Daí, concluímos que [tex3]B\hat{O}F=120^{\circ}[/tex3]
e [tex3]B\hat{A}F=90^{\circ}-\frac{\alpha}{2}+90^{\circ}-\frac{\beta}{2}=180^{\circ}-\frac{\alpha+\beta}{2}=120^{\circ}[/tex3]
.
No triângulo [tex3]ABF[/tex3]
, pela lei dos cossenos, temos: [tex3](BF)^2=3^2+2^2-2\cdot 3\cdot 2\cdot (\frac{-1}{2})=19[/tex3]
.
No triângulo [tex3]BOF[/tex3]
, denotando por [tex3]R[/tex3]
o raio da circunferência, temos [tex3](BF)^2=R^2+R^2-2\cdot R\cdot R\cdot (\frac{-1}{2})=3R^2[/tex3]
.
Logo, [tex3]3R^2=19\Rightarrow R=\frac{\sqrt{19}}{\sqrt{3}}[/tex3]
.
Observe que a área do hexágono ABCDEF é 3 vezes a área do quadrilátero ABOF, de modo que fica:
[tex3]A_{ABCDEF}=3\cdot (A_{ABF}+A_{BOF}) \\ A_{ABCDEF}=3\cdot (\frac{1}{2}\cdot 3\cdot 2\cdot sen120^{\circ}+\frac{1}{2}\cdot R\cdot R\cdot sen120^{\circ}) \\ \boxed{A_{ABCDEF}=\frac{37\sqrt{3}}{2}cm^2}[/tex3]
