Considere o polinômio p(x)=ao [tex3]x^{4}[/tex3] + a1 [tex3]x^{3}[/tex3] + a2 [tex3]x^{2}[/tex3] + a3x + a4, de grau 4, tais que p(2)=p(3)=p(4)=p(r)=0, onde r [tex3]\notin [/tex3] {2;3;4}.Temos, então, necessariamente que:
a)ao > 4
b)ao < 0
c)ao=0
d)ao > 0
e)n.r.a

[tex3]\mathsf{\bullet \ p(x) \ = \ a_0 \cdot x^4 \ + \ a_1 \cdot x^3 \ +\ a_2 \cdot x^2 \ + \ a_3 \cdot x \ + \ a_4 \ \rightarrow}[/tex3]

[tex3]\bullet[/tex3] Soma das raízes tomadas [tex3]\mathsf{1}[/tex3] a [tex3]\mathsf{1}[/tex3] :

[tex3]\mathsf{\dfrac{a_1}{a_0} \ = \ - (2 \ + \ 3 \ + \ 4 \ + \ r) \ \therefore \ a_1 \ = \ -(9 \ + \ r) \cdot a_0}[/tex3]

[tex3]\bullet[/tex3] Soma das raízes tomadas [tex3]\mathsf{2}[/tex3] a [tex3]\mathsf{2}[/tex3] por produtos:

[tex3]\mathsf{\dfrac{a_2}{a_0} \ = \ (2\cdot 3 \ + \ 2\cdot 4 \ + \ 2\cdot r \ + \ 3\cdot4 \ + \ 3\cdot r \ + \ 4 \cdot r) \ \therefore \ a_2 \ = \ (26 \ + \ 9\cdot r) \cdot a_0}[/tex3]

[tex3]\bullet[/tex3] Soma das raízes tomadas [tex3]\mathsf{3}[/tex3] a [tex3]\mathsf{3}[/tex3] por produtos:

[tex3]\mathsf{\dfrac{a_3}{a_0} \ = \ -(2\cdot 3\cdot 4 \ + \ 2\cdot 3 \cdot r \ + \ 2\cdot 4 \cdot r \ + \ 3\cdot4 \cdot r) \ \therefore \ a_3 \ = \ -(24\ + \ 26\cdot r) \cdot a_0}[/tex3]

[tex3]\bullet[/tex3] Produto das raízes:

[tex3]\mathsf{\dfrac{a_4}{a_0} \ =\ 2 \cdot 3 \cdot 4 \cdot r \ \therefore \ a_4 \ = \ 24 \cdot r \cdot a_0}[/tex3]

Perceba, portanto, que, ao substituirmos os coeficientes em [tex3]\mathsf{p(x):}[/tex3]

[tex3]\mathsf{p(x) \ = \ a_0 \cdot x^4 \ + \ \cancelto{-(9 \ + \ r) \cdot a_0}{a_1} \cdot x^3 \ +\ \cancelto{(26 \ + \ 9\cdot r) \cdot a_0}{a_2} \cdot x^2 \ + \ \cancelto{-(24\ + \ 26\cdot r) \cdot a_0}{a_3} \cdot x \ + \ \cancelto{24 \cdot r \cdot a_0}{a_4}}[/tex3]

[tex3]\mathsf{p(x) \ = \ a_0 \cdot \ \underbrace{\Big(x^4 \ -(9 \ + \ r) \cdot x^3 \ + \ (26 \ + \ 9\cdot r) \cdot x^2 \ -(24\ + \ 26\cdot r) \cdot x \ + \ 24 \cdot r\Big)}_{q(x)}}[/tex3]

[tex3]\mathsf{p(x) \ = \ a_0 \cdot q(x).}[/tex3]

Tomando então [tex3]\mathsf{q(x) \ = \ x^4 \ -(9 \ + \ r) \cdot x^3 \ + \ (26 \ + \ 9\cdot r) \cdot x^2 \ -(24\ + \ 26\cdot r) \cdot x \ + \ 24 \cdot r}[/tex3] , ao aplicarmos as relações de Girard em seus coeficientes, teremos as mesmas raízes de [tex3]\mathsf{p(x)}[/tex3] divididas por [tex3]\mathsf{a_0}[/tex3] , e concluímos que [tex3]\mathsf{a_0}[/tex3] é uma constante multiplicativa qualquer diferente de [tex3]\mathsf{0}[/tex3] , não sendo necessariamente nenhuma das afirmações [tex3]\mathsf{(a_0 \lt 0, a_0 \gt 0, a_0 \gt 4).}[/tex3]

Alternativa [tex3]\mathsf{e).}[/tex3]
