(ITA-SP) Temos um recipiente com N2 puro e outro com O2 puro. Volumes e pressões iniciais
estão assinalados no esquema seguinte.
Abrindo a torneira que separa os gases e mantida a temperatura, a pressão interna se estabiliza no
valor de:
a) 6,00 atm
b) 3,00 atm
Resposta

c) 2,60 atm
d) 2,50 atm
e) 2,17 atm

Por que neste caso pode-se usar a pressão e volume independentes sem precisar dos parciais?

Madu1, um recipiente com N2 puro e outro com O2 puro:

PV = n RT

[tex3]n_{N_2}=\frac{PV}{RT}=\frac{1\times3}{RT}=\frac{3}{RT}[/tex3]
[tex3]n_{O_2}=\frac{PV}{RT}=\frac{5\times2}{RT}=\frac{10}{RT}[/tex3]

Número total de mols depois de aberta a torneira:

[tex3]n_T=n_{N_2}+n_{O_2}[/tex3]
[tex3]n_T=\frac{3}{RT}+\frac{10}{RT}=\frac{13}{RT}[/tex3]

Determinação da pressão interna abrindo a torneira:

[tex3]P=\frac{n_TRT}{V}[/tex3]

[tex3]P=\frac{\left(\frac{13}{RT}\right).RT}{5}=\frac{13}{5}[/tex3]

[tex3]\boxed{P=2,60\ atm}[/tex3]


RESPOSTA = portanto a alternativa correta é a c) 2,60 atm

P.V+P.V=Pf.Vf
1.3+ 2.5=P. 5

não intendi o pq do volume total ser igual a 5 , sendo que em nenhum momento se deixa claro que o volume não possa variar .

yanlimav1, nesse caso, antes o sistema estava separado em duas partes, sendo uma delas de 2L e a outra de 3L. Quando a torneira foi aberta, a mistura dos gases passou a ocupar todo o recipiente, mantendo uma pressão igual a todas as suas partes (considerando quando o momento que os gases se estabilizam), nisso, a mistura dos gases ocupam 2+3=5L.
