Re: (CEFET-MG-Adaptada) Funções
Primeiro verificamos os números para saber qual função usar:
Como [tex3](-\frac{1}{2} \therefore -0,5) \leq 1[/tex3] , [tex3]f(- \frac{1}{2}) = (\sqrt2 - x) (\sqrt2 + x)[/tex3] .
Como [tex3](\frac{7}{2} \therefore 3,5) \geq 3[/tex3] , [tex3]f(\frac{7}{2}) = 3[/tex3] .
Como [tex3]1 < (\frac{3}{2} \therefore 1,5) < 3[/tex3] , [tex3]f(\frac{3}{2}) = 2 - x[/tex3] .
Após fazermos isso, basta substituirmos os valores:
[tex3]\\
A = \sqrt{f(-\frac{1}{2}) - f(\frac{7}{2}) \cdot f(\frac{3}{2})} \\
A = \sqrt{((\sqrt2 - (-\frac{1}{2}) \cdot (\sqrt2 + (-\frac{1}{2})) - (3 \cdot (2 - \frac{3}{2})} \therefore \sqrt{((\sqrt2 + \frac{1}{2}) \cdot (\sqrt2 - \frac{1}{2})) - (3 \cdot ( \frac{1}{2}))} \\
A = \sqrt{((\sqrt2)^2 - (\frac{1}{2})^2) - \frac{3}{2}} \therefore \sqrt{(2 - \frac{1}{4}) - \frac{3}{2}} \therefore \sqrt{\frac{7}{4} - \frac{3}{2}} \therefore \sqrt {\frac{1}{4}} \therefore \boxed {A = \frac{1}{2}}[/tex3]

Pedro
Obs.: Perceba que na segunda linha utilizei um produto notável ([tex3](\sqrt2 + \frac{1}{2}) \cdot (\sqrt2 - \frac{1}{2}) = (\sqrt2)^2 - (\frac{1}{2})^2[/tex3] , ou generalizando [tex3](a + b) \cdot (a - b) = a^2 - b^2[/tex3]

A = \sqrt{((\sqrt2)^2 - (\frac{1}{2})^2) - \frac{3}{2}} \therefore \sqrt{(2 - \frac{1}{4}) - \frac{3}{2}} \therefore \sqrt{\frac{7}{4} - \frac{3}{2}} \therefore \sqrt {\frac{1}{4}} \therefore \boxed {A = \frac{1}{2}}[/tex3]
